The new route

Air India Express’ first Visakhapatnam–Bangkok flight arrived on 27 October 2026, according to TAT’s report published the following day. The service operates twice weekly and uses Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), not Don Mueang.

What to check when booking

If you are starting in Visakhapatnam, compare this non-stop service with connecting flights for your travel dates. TAT’s launch timetable lists the Bangkok return at 02:10 local time: check the date on your ticket carefully, because an early-hours departure can mean travelling to the airport the previous evening. Confirm operating days, current times, baggage and fares with Air India Express; the announcement is not live seat availability.
