THE KOH CHANG FIELD GUIDE
Koh Chang.
Good finds. Your budget.
Where to spend less—and what costs extra.
Food, sights and transport in Koh Chang: compare the places and price the choices you want.
See the places & practical links
Use Kai Bae beach and viewpoint as a self-directed outing, with your main spending choice being how you get there. Compare a return ride with paying for separate outward and evening journeys.
Here are specific ways to explore Koh Chang without assuming a package price. The map and provider links let you choose the places, then check the costs that actually apply to you.

Useful booking options01 / PLACES TO START
The places that make the budget work.
- THE IDEA
- Named walks, food stops and optional visits.
- USEFUL TO KNOW
- Paid admissions, meals and transfers are separate purchases.
Blue Lagoon gives you a named menu to check instead of buying an all-inclusive food outing. Match the visit to lunch or dinner service and confirm any dietary changes before ordering.
A meal with an advertised show and a cooking class buy different experiences at KC Grande. Ask what a dinner reservation entails on the performance night you want, and request a separate all-in class quote rather than assuming hotel facilities are free to outside visitors.
02 / WHAT YOUR ADDRESS CHANGES
Stay near the things you came for.
- THE IDEA
- Compare the journeys your accommodation creates.
- USEFUL TO KNOW
- A low room rate can come with additional transport costs.
Kai Bae: Kai Bae beach and viewpoint Check the actual walk between your accommodation, beach access and viewpoint.
Klong Prao: Blue Lagoon restaurant The area is spread out; check the property pin rather than the area label alone.
White Sand Beach: KC Grande's The Beach Restaurant Entertainment depends on the day and venue; room position still matters.
THE LITTLE THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING
Before you decide.
Why is there no single daily total?
A total needs current meal prices, the activities you choose and your actual starting point. Any specific fare or price quoted above is tied to a source; use a current menu or provider quote for the other purchases you choose.
Does this include accommodation and arriving here?
No. Compare your room, arrival transfer and any major excursion separately. The choices above describe places to explore and the costs to check, not a package or a guaranteed minimum budget.
Will saving this create plans in My Diary?
No. Saving keeps the guide as an idea. Choose what to add to a day yourself; nothing here makes a booking or changes your trip automatically.
GOOD FINDS. YOUR DIARY.
Not planning yet?
Keep the idea.
Save this guide to your favourites. It stays an idea—not an automatic plan in your trip.
